Well heres a peek at the minimum of the minimum configuration possible to run xp on.
Experimental setup:
- Asus PIV-486SP3 socket 3 Mainboard, SIS 496/97 chipset
- Pentium Overdrive 83 MHz @ 16/8 MHz
- 64 MB RAM, later 20 MB
- EIDE drives
- Vision964-PCI graphics-card
Yes the clock speed is 7 Mhz and the RAM is 20 mb !!

Now you say the image is digitally modified. Heres the image of the monitor ! Haha ! Catch that!

Now still dont believe me ... have a look at the setup !

Windows xp wont install on a system with less than 64 mb of ram. The ram was later removed to prove that it was possible to run xp on such less resources.
Ah .... what a waste of the clock cycles .... 7MHz huh !
